>> Time Of Your Life (Good Riddance) by Green Day

>> las lyrics

("Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)"

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life

>>Dolphins Cry by Live

Dolphins Cry by Live

>> las lyrics

The way you're bathed in light
reminds me of that night
god laid me down into your rose garden of trust
and I was swept away
with nothin' left to say
some helpless fool
yeah I was lost in a swoon of peace
you're all I need to find
so when the time is right
come to me sweetly, come to me
come to me

love will lead us, alright
love will lead us, she will lead us
can you hear the dolphin's cry?
see the road rise up to meet us
it's in the air we breathe tonight
love will lead us, she will lead us

oh yeah, we meet again
it's like we never left
time in between was just a dream
did we leave this place?
this crazy fog surrounds me
you wrap your legs around me
all I can do to try and breathe
let me breathe so that I
so we can go together!

love will lead us, alright
love will lead us, she will lead us
can you hear the dolphin's cry?
see the road rise up to meet us
it's in the air we breathe tonight
love will lead us, she will lead us

life is like a shooting star
it don't matter who you are
if you only run for cover, it's just a waste of time
we are lost 'til we are found
this phoenix rises up from the ground
and all these wars are over

over
over
singin' la da da, da da da
over
come to me
singin' la da da da, da da da
come to me

i think alan is right about this song but i also agree that it has alot to do with the fact that dolphins enjoy pulling up to the bumper LOL
- ashley, perth, WA

have any of you people ever seen the video to this song? the song has a double meaning: the first one is about tantric sex, as edward kowalczyk himself says in an interview, and the other one is the one illustrated in the video - life is like a shooting star, it don't matter who you are, if you only run for cover it's just a waste of time. c'mon, it's so obvious once you've seen the video. and the correlation with the fact that dolphins have sex for pleasure... for crying out loud, that is really ridiculous, if you dont mind me saying.
- Liza, craiova, Romania

Man, Its not about any of that, youre all reading to much into it. It's about two people who had a very brief relationship in the past, and they meet again and are ready to try an make it work despite all odds... "The way youre bathed in light, reminds me of that night..." "So yeah, we meet again, its like we never left, time in between was just a dream- did we leave this place."
- Alan, Toronto, Canada

I have sensed a different vibe from the song. If you are into metaphysics and new age spirituality this may make sense; otherwise not: Right now we are in the birthing stages of a universal energy change. It is going to get worse before it gets better on this planet. Dolphins are very spiritual animals who, in a sense, cry for the oceans and planet that are being destroyed. Dolphins will eventually be destroyed themselves unless this catastrophe is diverted. "Love will lead us, she will lead us" Love is the most powerful thing in the universe. Some will need to be lead through these hard times. Others will escape all together. "See the road rise up to meet us." Being of higher spirituality, and love raises our vibration, the dense earth would need to rise to us. "Life is like a shooting star, it don't matter who you are if you only run for cover, it's just a waste of time. We are lost 'til we are found, this phoenix rises up from the ground and all these wars are over." Phoenix rises from the ashes... and so will our planet when the wars are over. You can't run from life or life lessons. It is a waste of time. Sometimes you are simply lost, (could be spiritually) til you are found.
- Asha, Vacaville, CA

"the way your bathed in light, reminds me of that night, god led me down into your rose garden of trust and i was swept away with nothing left to say." is my favotite part. it makes me think about how beautiful my boyfriend is, inside and out. and how i;m still breathless because of him.
- Heather, Mead, NE

Finally figured out the meaning of this song It starts out with two people having sex on the beach ("rose garden of trust....You wrap your legs around me ".... and while theyre at it they cant help but hear "The Dolphins Cry" (as mentioned dolphins enjoy sex too) This is the mesaage Ed is tryin to convey UNIVERSAL LOVE....stars out small and then spreads out to all The only solution to all our problems Spiritual Love

Dolphins are the only animals other than humans who "enjoy sex"

>> Precious by Depeche Mode

Precious and fragile things
Need special handling
My God what have we done to You?

We always try to share
The tenderest of care
Now look what we have put You through...

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

Angels with silver wings
Shouldn't know suffering
I wish I could take the pain for you

If God has a master plan
That only He understands
I hope it's your eyes He's seeing through

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

I pray you learn to trust
Have faith in both of us
And keep room in your hearts for two

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give
